TRAVEL BY TASTE from Arneshreppur to Reykjavík

Crisscross travel company offers a special tour on June 25^th for the guests of The Skin of the World, making the journey from Arneshreppur to Reykjavík a rich and memorable experience.

Crisscross is specialized in unique food tours through West Iceland. In the spirit of slow travel we combine farm visits, food tasting and the beautiful Icelandic nature. During this special tour on June 25^th we visit three very interesting farmers, each one a pioneer in their way. We get to taste the food they produce and hear their stories. In the afternoon we stop at Europe’s most powerful hot spring, Deildartunguhver and the stunning Hraunfossar waterfalls, where the water flows from underneath a lava field into a glacial river.
