Discover how the handcrafted single malt — Flóki — is made from 100% Icelandic barley and get an inside look at traditional methods, including sheep dung smoking and pot distillation, while enjoying a guided tasting throughout the experience.
In this small group visit you’ll hear stories that connect Icelandic barley to Viking explorers, and the rebirth of local grain farming in modern Iceland. Taste the award-winning Flóki whisky, plus other handcrafted products: Vor Gin and Víti Brennivín, all infused with native botanicals and Icelandic spirit.
Duration: 1 hour and 15 min
Two tours daily: 14.00 and 16.00
Meet on location: Eimverk Distillery Lyngás 13, 210 Garðabær (in the Capital Area). Please arrive 5-10 minutes before scheduled tour time

By bus: Take bus #1 from Reykjavík to Ásgarður, then walk ~8 minutes
By taxi: 10–15 minutes from downtown Reykjavík (up to 25 in traffic!)
